Our Staff
Eric Porteous
Executive Director
Eric Porteous is an ordinary guy who wants to live an extraordinary life. That’s why he’s mentored young people, led mission trips to Mexico, and run a marathon. During his professional career, Eric has helped numerous nonprofits and other organizations improve their communication. And he brings this same passion to his role as Executive Director of the Arizona Freedom Foundation.
Born in New Jersey, Eric moved to Arizona with his family when he was only six years old. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2002 with a degree in Communication and currently lives in the East Valley with his wife and three children. Eric is a sports fanatic, and during his free time, you can often find him on the field playing softball or coaching his kids.
